Protection of Whistleblowers

Hwaseung Corporation operates a strict protection program to ensure reporters face no disadvantages.

  • The identity of reporters will never be disclosed without consent, and confidentiality will be strictly maintained.
  • We protect you from any disadvantage or discrimination from your business relationships or affiliated departments for reasons such as reporting, making statements, or submitting materials.
  • Those who cooperate with the investigation through statements, provision of materials, etc. during the fact-finding process are equally protected, and retaliation is prohibited.
  • Voluntary reporters may receive mitigation of responsibility depending on severity and past conduct.

Processing Procedure

  • The information you report will be investigated to confirm the facts, and thorough security and safety will be guaranteed.
  • We guarantee that those who provide advice or report will not be disadvantaged in their work or business activities, and we will not track the identity of any informant.
  • If the information entered is inaccurate or false, or if unfounded profanity, slander, or advertising content is entered, it may not be processed and may be deleted at our discretion.

  • Conduct fact-finding investigations in accordance with whistleblower protection regulations.
Investigation closed
  • After the investigation is completed, a decision will be made on whether to take corrective action and discipline the relevant individuals.
Results of processing
  • Notify the individual of the processing results
  1. Employee grievances will be promptly processed within (10) days of receipt. However, the processing period may change for other reporting subjects.
  2. The estimated time required may vary depending on the difficulty and scope of the investigation, including whether additional investigations and follow-up measures are required. If any schedule adjustments are necessary, prior notice will be provided.

Appeal procedure

  • Applicant for objection : If you have any objections to the processing results, you may file an objection.
  • Period for objection : "Within 30 days" from the date of notification of the processing result or the date on which a decision appears to have been made.
  • How to file an objection: In writing, including the application form details below.
  1. 1) Applicant's name, resident registration number, and address
    (In the case of a corporation or organization, its name, location of office or business place, and name of representative)
  2. 2) Whether or not a notice of decision regarding disclosure of information subject to objection has been received
    • Objection Decision Results: Within seven days of receiving the objection, we will decide whether to accept or reject it and promptly notify the claimant of the decision in writing. If we decide to dismiss or reject the objection, we will notify the claimant of their right to file an administrative appeal or lawsuit along with the decision, specifying the reasons for the decision, the method of appeal, and the appeal procedures.
